This page explains what we collect when you visit Clearway Institute, and the choices you have about it.
Account & course data
When you purchase a course or log in, we store your login session in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in between visits. We also keep the purchase, progress, and certificate records tied to your account so your dashboard and certificates work. This is necessary for the site to function and isn’t affected by the cookie choice below.
Advertising cookies
If you select “Accept all” in the cookie banner, we load retargeting pixels from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and TikTok. These let us show you a Clearway Institute ad on those platforms after you’ve visited the site — for example, if you looked at a course but didn’t finish checking out. Each platform sets its own cookie or similar identifier in your browser to do this; we don’t control how long they keep that data or use it beyond what each platform’s own privacy policy describes.
If you select “Reject non-essential,” none of these scripts load and no advertising cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer of every page.
